Hello, my name is Eli Pine. I was born in Ukraine in 1994. I spent the first five and a half years of my life in an orphanage. In 2000 I was adopted and have lived in several different states since. I officially became a US citizen by adoption on July 3rd, 2000. I am so proud and thankful to have the opportunity to live in this incredible country! July 4th is by far my favorite holiday. This country has given me so much that I would have never had if I had stayed in Ukraine.

I started working at the Boundary County Community Restorium in 2017. In the beginning I was not sure how I would like this job because I never grew up with younger siblings. Personal care was something that scared me at first. Four and a half years later I love what I do! One of my favorite parts of working at the Restorium is taking care of our local veterans. It is a privilege to serve these men and women that sacrificed so much to keep our country “The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave!”
